Year 9 students attended a series of inspirational talks and participated in energising group activities at yLead's Altitude Day. The girls gained advice on making good choices, building confidence and becoming active and inspirational leaders.

The annual one-day event featured guest speakers who addressed the philosophy that 'leadership is any action that makes the world we touch a better place'. Students listened to:

  • Nic Marchesi and Lucas Patchett, 2016 Australians of the Year and founders of Orange Sky Laundry (Brisbane)

  • Daniel Flynn, Cofounder Thankyou Group (Melbourne)

  • Barnaby Howath – Former AFL player and stroke survivor
