Learn to Swim
The Wenona Learn to Swim (LTS) programs are based on years of experience in aquatic education, focusing on teaching our students skills for life. Being able to swim well is a pathway to enjoying swimming recreationally or competitively but is also a skill applicable to a range of other sports and an excellent form of exercise and cross-training.
Our aim is to help everyone achieve their swimming goals, whatever they may be. Classes are held in our new state-of-the-art, purpose-built heated indoor aquatic facility. Our staff possess nationally recognised qualifications in teaching swimming and water safety through Austswim, ASCTA, or RLSSA.
The programs we offer are:
- Pre-School Aged (3 years to 5 years old), currently offered on Monday and Thursday mornings
- School Aged (5 years old and above), currently offered on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons
- Private lessons, dependent on available space currently offered from 6:00-6:30pm on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday evenings
- Holiday programs and workshops
Coming soon:
- Babies and toddler (6 months to 3 years old)
- Teens and adults
- School and external group bookings

Booking a trial for a School aged student:
Please be advised that we are currently at capacity in our school aged classes and only able to place new students on a waitlist. Because of this, there is no trial availability until further notice. Please email learntoswim@wenona.nsw.edu.au to go on the waitlist to be notified when trials become available again in the future.
Booking a trial for a Pre-School aged student:
Trials for Pre-School aged students are now available to be booked for February.
Trials are on Monday and Thursday mornings from 8:50-9:00am and bookings can be made on the Wenona LTS Portal - bookings are essential. Throughout the term the LTS Portal displays trial options for the upcoming few weeks only, so please keep an eye on the portal for opportunities after February.
Term 1 2023 Registrations:
Students currently enrolled in Wenona LTS can view their enrolment on the Wenona LTS Portal.
Term 1 Wenona LTS will conclude on Thursday 6 April.
