Parents' Association

The special experience Wenona provides is made possible by the strong partnership between the School and its parent community. The Wenona Parents' Association (WPA) facilitates this partnership, acting as a conduit for information and feedback, and a source of support. Parents become WPA members when their daughter commences at Wenona. All are encouraged to get involved and contribute to the life of our wonderful School.

At the start of each year, the WPA hosts a cocktail party for the Wenona community. The Executive Committee and the WPA’s network of Class Representatives host a number of events, including trivia nights, balls, golf and tennis days, over the year. Parent breakfasts ensure new families are welcome, and the biannual Wenona Spring Fair is a much-celebrated event.

DeniseDenise is the mother of Lily (year 10), Matilda (year 8) and also has a son in year 6. Her girls have been at Wenona since years 3 and 1 so she knows each of our campus areas well. Denise firmly believes that it “takes a village to raise a child” and holds a strong belief that a close parent community can only enhance our children’s experience at school.
