Our Community

The Wenona Parents' Association

The Wenona Parents’ Association (WPA) creates connections, support programs and shared purpose for families, strengthening the educational experience for every Wenona student.

Community and connection

Our calendar of events reflects our community spirit. From the New Families’ Picnic at the start of each year to the WPA Spring Fair, morning teas and gala balls, WPA gatherings create lasting friendships and a strong sense of belonging.
Beyond social events, families also come together for charitable initiatives, regularly earning recognition for their collective participation: a testament to the School’s commitment to causes that matter.

Supporting families

Wenona’s parent education programs equip families with practical strategies, helping them guide their daughters through school and prepare them for the opportunities ahead. These sessions also reinforce the partnership between home and school that defines the Wenona experience.

Get involved

The WPA is led by an elected committee of dedicated parents and thrives on active participation. We encourage all families to attend meetings, join committees and contribute to the community that supports every Wenonian’s growth.

Wenona Alumnae

Our commitment to our students extends well beyond graduation. Wenona connects Alumnae across generations through professional networking, mentorship, events and lasting friendships.

Events

A range of gatherings take place throughout the year, including reunion dinners, cocktail evenings and campus tours. Key events include:
  • White and Blue Reunion: connecting Alumnae who graduated 40 or more years ago to celebrate enduring friendships and shared Wenona experiences
  • Women of Spirit Breakfast: featuring Alumnae sharing their career journeys, with networking opportunities for attendees
  • Foundation Day: honouring the School’s heritage and highlighting young Alumnae who demonstrate Renaissance woman principles in their professional and personal lives.

Reunions

Throughout the year, reunion events bring Alumnae together to catch up, share life updates and maintain their Wenona connections.

We welcome contributions from Alumnae for School publications and communications. If you have career news, personal milestones or stories to share, please get in touch at alumnae@wenona.nsw.edu.au
