Creative problem-solvers from Years 4 to 9 competed at last weekend’s Regional Tournament of Minds at Roseville College. Wenona’s four teams had a great day presenting their solutions to highly complex problems to a panel of judges.
Of 57 Primary school teams and 16 Senior school teams competing, only four winning teams - one from each of Applied Technology, Language and Literature, Maths and Engineering, and the Social Sciences - go through to the NSW finals in each division. High achievers Wenona Einsteins were given Honours for their work in the Social Sciences (awarded to only two teams in each discipline). Congratulations to Wenona Einsteins Chloe, Lila, Zoe, Sophie from Year 6, Scarlett and Lucy of Year 4, and Jemima from Year 5, and to all Tournament of Minds competitors.
