Students learned about creating supportive, encouraging, friendly and optimistic environments at Year 8 Camp in Berowra, NSW. From Monday 23 May, 2016 to Friday 27 May, 2016, girls participated in a range of physical activities and considered their 'best self'. The camp, run by Southbound Adventures, focused on strengthening the girls' ability to think and plan ahead.
Wenona's 'challenge by choice' camps allow girls to challenge themselves by moving out of their comfort zone, into the adventure zone, but never the danger zone.
This week, Wenona was a riot of colourful national costumes, as we celebrated the rich diversity of our community for Harmony Day.
For the first time since the Shore unit was established in 1908, the annual Ceremonial Parade was led by two female Cadets from Wenona.
Perfectly imperfect. Two words that are polar opposite in their definition, yet only two letters shift their meaning!
