Director of Boarding

Wenona's Director of Boarding, Helena Dashwood, writes:

The boarding community at Wenona plays a key role in school life. Boarding provides girls with a secure environment where long-lasting friendships are formed and provides the kind of cross-cultural links which enrich life and broaden experiences.

As Director of Boarding, I am passionate about boarding and the opportunities it provides for the development of young women and the shaping of their character. I appreciate that the needs of families are different. We have an experienced boarding team here at Wenona who wish to make the boarding experience a special one for each girl and her parents.

There are many questions girls and parents have if they are considering boarding. Please don't hesitate to contact the Registrar if you would like to know more. We hope you and your daughter will be interested in becoming part of our community. We would love to take you on a tour of our boarding facilities. This is the best way to see for yourself all we have to offer.
